Quite often people don't know what we're
about, what our purpose and ethos is - have a quick read

Take a look below to see some of the great furniture that we have on offer, or check out our Facebook page for regular updates - even better though, why not pop in and grab yourself a bargain!
What is the furniture project?
From its humble beginnings, to our now large and bulging
furniture warehouse, the furniture project is where you
can buy good quality pre-owned furniture at very cheap
prices. Our aim is to ensure that everyone, no matter how
small your income, is able to furnish their home to a high
standard, helping to create a better personal space for
people to live in.
Do you only sell to those on a low income? No!!! Everyone is welcome, not only will you be able to pick up a bargain, but the money is then used for community projects, it truly is a win win situation.
What is an 'Emergency Pack'? Our partner agencies are able to come to us for emergency packs of furniture, bedding and kitchen ware - these items allow people to settle into a new home without fear or worry about the absolute basics. Our aim is to ensure that those in need receive everything that 'Makes a House a Home'.
So how does it work? We collect (or people bring) furniture and household items which are no longer needed or wanted, if they need fixing up, then that's what we do - we then sell them in our warehouse, creating income which helps to go towards community projects and keeping the charity afloat - we try never to throw out anything that is of use.
Is it just furniture and bric-a-brac? No!!! We have a large selection of electrical goods, from fridge freezers and hairdryers to the now iconic Dyson vacuum (all tested by competent and qualified volunteers - to ensure your safety). You will also find clothing and bedding at almost silly prices.
Want to donate your furniture or other
items? If you want to donate your furniture,
household goods or electrical items just give us a call on 02392-583050,
we'll arrange for our van to come and collect it - and
don't forget we can collect large items. Check out
our house clearance page
here, or pop in for a chat.
Is it really as simple as that!?
Yes!!! You donate your unwanted items, we sell
them, then use the money for community projects -
sometimes keeping it simple is the best way!
AND DON'T FORGET WE CAN COLLECT LARGE ITEMS!
